Our client is specialised in providing training and inspection services to the global energy and heavy industry sector in emerging markets.

Their instructors are regularly required to travel overseas and train non-English native teams on the latest health and safety regulations, quality management systems and best manufacturing practices. 

The Challenge

Our client was receiving mixed results and feedback because their training was mostly delivered in English only. To avoid unnecessary costs associated with bringing interpreters from the UK or other sites, their Learning & Development teams were looking for a global language partner with local connections, who could provide them with qualified interpreters and a technical team both in the capital cities and remote areas they were operating from. 

The Solution

To maintain the lively nature of training sessions, Omnicis' specialist Interpreting team recommended simultaneous interpreting service which also has the advantage of not lengthening the training unnecessarily. Our dedicated Project Managers carefully selected the most suitable and qualified team of interpreters and technicians based on our client's specific requirements including industry knowledge and proximity to the venue location.

As part of our recruitment quality standard, we only work with professional and native-speaking interpreters who are accredited and have completed a minimum of 150 days of work in their chosen working language(s). Furthermore, all our interpreters sign a confidentiality agreement and NDA prior to taking on any assignment with Omnicis, thus our clients can always be confident about sharing agenda and documentation with our team to aid in the preparation of their training.

It was equally important to select the most appropriate simultaneous interpreting system and technical team to put the interpreters in the best working conditions and guarantee a successful training event without a glitch.
