Multilingual Software Localisation & Onsite Testing

Our client is the global leader in providing sophisticated yet easy-to-use candidate attraction tools that help recruiters improve efficiency and increase return on investment.

At Broadbean, software localisation is an integral part of each product launch because their tools are used every month by over 30,000 recruiters around the world.  For the global release of their new job posting tool: AdCourier, Omnicis was commissioned with the localisation and testing of the new software and all relevant help documentation into Spanish, German, Japanese, Italian, Simplified Chinese, Danish, Dutch, Swedish and Hebrew.

The Challenge

Given their global audience and future integration of the sotware on generalist and niche job boards across the UK, EMEA, Americas and APAC regions, our client was looking for a global partner with experience in software localisation and a reliable network of qualified linguists specialised in their field.

The Solution

We put together the right combination of subject-specialist linguists and localisation experts to localise the application and translate the user interface including menus, error messages in line with each market’s local requirements for text encoding systems, input methods, currency and date formats. Our standard software localisation process includes proofreading and internal accuracy-checking steps to ensure text completeness, consistency and use of correct file structure before delivery.

In addition to completing the localisation of the application and relevant documentation, Omnicis was able to send linguists on client site for the testing and QA of each language application, thus ensuring the delivery of an error-free software before its official release.

The Outcome

The application was released on time and budget and Omnicis has been helping Broadbean with all their website and software localisation projects since 2009.
